"Take It To The Limit" with Keith & Dierks
Here are a few clips from the Keith concert I went to in Roanoke, VA. The first is a clip I saw on youtube of Keith and Dierks singing "Take It To The Limit." Unfortunately the video cuts out while Keith discovers that Dierks has the lyrics written on his arm. The second video is one that I took at the end of the show. Enjoy!
Ten Prime Keith Urban Hits
CMT News recently published an article distinguishing Keith's top 10 hits as defined by CMT.com staff members Craig Shelburne, Christopher Parton, Stephanie Pendergrass and Calvin Gilbert. The group identifies Keith as taking "a more subtle approach, building his career largely on songs of optimism, personal freedom and a mostly idealistic view of love and romantic relationships." These are the exact characteristics that make women across the world not only fall in love with Keith, but with his songs as well. I, myself, have experienced this love for Keith for many years now, which only intensifies during heartbreak.
The top ten songs are as follows:
Better Life
But for the Grace of God
Days Go By
I Told You So
Making Memories of Us
Raining on Sunday
Somebody Like You
Stupid Boy
Til Summer Comes Around
You'll Think of Me

Studio Session Blog
So I've been super busy this summer and haven't paid quite as much attention to keithurban.net as I'd like to. With that said, I did a little investigating this morning and found a really cool Studio Session Blog that can be found by visiting keithurban.net, clicking on the "news" tab, then "Studio Sessions." It's a neat blog written by Brad that documents the process of making Keith's new album. There are pictures, videos, special messages from Keith, and a full description of what's going on in the studio. A great addition to Keith's site!

Countdown To Keith
It's that time of the year again: Keith Concert Time!!! That's right, in a mere 34 days I'll be basking in the 2nd row with my cousin, Vicky, as Keith takes on the Champlain Valley Fair in Essex Junction, Vermont. Having been to almost 10 Keith concerts thus far, I must admit that I am still just as excited for this concert as I was for my first. What's extra special about this concert is that 1) I'm sitting in the 2nd row, which is BY FAR closer than any other starting position seat at a Keith concert, and 2) my parents are going!!! Since the first time I saw Keith at Mohegan Sun I've been trying to talk my parents into going to one of his concerts, or rather "experiences," and they're finally going! Although I'm sure it won't be as intimate of a concert because it's outside, at a fair, and he won't have a catwalk, I can't wait for my Dad to see all of his guitars, his voice, and his AMAZING stage presence. I only hope they gain the respect for Keith that I've always had...

Nashville Disaster
The recent flooding in Nashville, Tennessee is bringing out the best and worst of Nashville artist. Since the flood, radio stations have been full of telethons trying to bring in money to help renovate the expected one billion dollars in damage. With that said, many artists, such as Keith Urban and Brad Paisley, have lost nearly all of their equipment as it was stored in a storing facility in Nashville. See Keith talk about his loss and the loss of others in Nashville here at CNN.com.
