When I'm Lonely, I Look to Keith...
So my boyfriend is away on work for the weekend and I've been quite a lonely girl. The good news is that Keith had TWO spectacular performances on live TV yesterday, both of which I TIVOED and watched repeatedly last night. The first was on The TODAY Show where he had a somewhat awkward interview, then performed "Only You Can Love Me This Way"...which, lets be honest ladies, reminds us all of our boyfriends/husbands. Then, on The Late Night Show, Keith performed SWEET THING just before midnight l
ast night. His voice sounded SPECTACULAR and the band was set up kind of like a flock of geese with Keith in the front and the guys behind him in a triangle. The best news about his performance is that he was wearing a buttoned-up shirt, which was naturally unbuttoned at the top, and a new tattoo on his chest was visible! It seems to be some kind of a sun over his heart and is meant to symbolize his love for his beautiful daughter, Sunday Rose. I can't wait to see him again to see that new tattoo in person.....

A New Keith Urban Fan is Born...

As a "Cardinal Tradition," for Halloween every year we vote on what my adorable little niece will be for trick-or-treating. This year the Monkey costume won by a milestone. As seen here, I've already begun converting Anna into a Keith Urban fan...she's a monkey...and in my eyes, that represents me as a MONKEYVILLE member and everything I believe in.

We're All For The Hall
Keith's always willing to put in a helping hand no matter what the need, and last Tuesday's "We're All for the Hall" benefit concert was no exception. Taking the stage promptly at 7:30 central time, Keith put together a star-studded night full of music at the Sommet Center in Nashville, Tennessee, having ALL procedes go directly to the Country Music Hall of Fame. As we know, times have been tough and people can no longer afford to support the hall via traveling or giving cash donations. Enter Keith Urban to the rescue! For those of you who watched it online on October 13th, you must admit, it was a great night! After playing an entire 2-hour set himself, Keith then welcomed to the stage Vince Gill and his band. For the remainder of the night, Keith and Vince played backup instruments and vocals for such acts as Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean, Faith Hill, Taylor Swift, and Little Big Town. It was simply amazing to truly see what a big heart Keith has and how he's willing to put in so much to save a good thing. Tickets were only $25 a piece (approximately 1/12 of what I usually pay for Keith tickets) and Keith was able to earn THOUSANDS for the Hall. Maybe next year he'll be inducted...
